Zulay Shenao is a Colombian born and is a Colombian-American actor. Her most notable role has been as Esperanza for her role in the Oprah Winfrey Network series 'If love isn't right, it's incorrect'. She has also appeared in many films, including Illegal Tender,' 'Takers,' Boy Wonder,' and True Memoirs of an International Assassin. She was born in Medellin, Antioquia, Colombia, she, alongside her family moved to USA at the age of four. Henao was stationed at Fort Bragg North Carolina and was stationed there for 3 years as a soldier in the U.S. Army. She was a student at Methodist College during this time. After high school, Henao went to the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts.
